MEET OUR SPEECH TEAM

Rebecca Drory || M.H.Sc., S-LP(C), Reg. CASLPO

Speech-Language Pathologist

Founder and Clinical Director

Rebecca received her Masters in Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto in 2007.  Rebecca started her career within the public preschool sector at Early Abilities.   A decade later, she ventured out on her own and started Bespoke Speech; a private SLP practice in midtown Toronto.

 Rebecca has always excelled at maintaining open communication with families and believes that parent participation is a key component to building strong language and play skills in babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.  She believes a tailored approach to each family is the key in seeing positive communication change.  Rebecca's therapy passions are Late Talking Toddlers, articulation delays, and motor speech difficulties.  She has created a wealth of both in-person and virtual programming to best equip parents  in helping their Little One's communication skills soar.

 Rebecca is the proud Mama of two amazing kids who were born 19 months apart.  It was during her time on back-to-back maternity leaves that she learned quite a bit about the resources and activities available to parents and babies and when her idea of Babbling Babies® came to fruition.  She created the program in 2017, teaching her first class in her friend's living room.  Five years later, hundreds of babies have crawled through our doors.

Li Tang || M.H.Sc., Reg. CASLPO

Assessment, Therapy, and Consultation Team

Li received her Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto. Li provides her services in English and in Mandarin.  Since graduating in 2014, Li has been working with the preschool population. She began her career working at KidsAbility Centre for Child Development in Waterloo where she provided assessment and treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists. She currently splits her time working in the public sector at Early Abilities in downtown Toronto and offering private consultations and assessments to the Bespoke Speech community.

 Li's passion has always been with preschool children as she believes in the importance of early intervention and parent involvement. Li has a wonderful 3  year old daughter who keeps her busy. Li is learning how to balance working mom life with a preschooler while celebrating all the little milestones along the way. Li is determined to equip parents with the knowledge and skills to help their Little Ones reach their full communication potential.

Jackie Saltsman || M.H.Sc., Reg. CASLPO

Speech-Language Pathologist

Assessment, Therapy, and Consultation Team

Jackie received her Masters of Health in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto.  Jackie has worked with the preschool population with Early Abilities-Preschool Speech and Language program.  For the past 14 years, Jackie has worked together with parents to provide assessment, therapy, and consultation services to young children.  She has a passion for speech sound disorders and late-talking toddlers. Jackie truly enjoys collaborating with parents to help children reach their individual speech and language goals.

When not working, Jackie enjoys spending quality time with her three wonderful daughters, including a set of identical twins!  Being a busy mom helped her become a better therapist; particularly including the child's family in the therapy process.   She is excited to talk and play with so many families.

Karen Feder || Reg. CASLPO

Speech-Language Pathologist

 Assessment, Therapy, and Consultation Team

Karen received her Masters of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto. She has over 20 years experience working in the private sector as well as in the public sector with the Early Abilities – Preschool Speech and Language Program. She has been part of multidisciplinary developmental screening and neonatal follow up teams. Karen has extensive experience working with children with delays and impairments in their language, social communication, play, literacy and speech production skills. Many of her clients have come from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Several years ago, Karen took on a management position for a speech and language team, which was an exciting new opportunity in her career. Still, she missed her time spent with Little Ones and their parents, so she is thrilled to be part of the Bespoke team where she can continue to support families directly.

Karen is the proud mom of two teenaged daughters. Running a busy household helped her gain perspective on the necessity and importance of incorporating language learning into everyday moments and daily routines. She values including and empowering parents in their journey to support the growth of their children’s communication skills.
